Our take
I like Odalys City Angers Centre Gare for combining spacious apartments with hotel services: kitchenettes, a daily buffet breakfast, a lift and a 24-hour front desk. An 8.6 rating across more than 3,200 reviews is strong for an aparthotel. Its position by the station suits train travellers, and the château is within reach of the centre. Drivers should allow for the paid private parking.
- ✓Book a family room if you're travelling with children for extra space and comfort.
- ✓Take advantage of the kitchenette to prepare some of your meals and save on dining out.
- ✓Consider the paid private parking if you're arriving by car, as city parking can be challenging.
