Our take
I would recommend Maison Lamartine to travellers who want apartment independence in the centre of Nice. The renovated studios and apartments, the garden and the TV lounge give a homely feel, while the station and the tram stop are a short walk away and the Promenade des Anglais and the beach about ten minutes on foot. Pets are accepted. It is a self-catering house, so I would not expect a restaurant or the services of a large hotel.
- ✓Take advantage of the kitchenette to prepare some meals and save on dining out.
- ✓Use the nearby tram stop to easily reach different parts of Nice and the surrounding areas.
- ✓Spend some time relaxing in the garden, a peaceful escape in the city centre.
