Our take
The Social Hub Toulouse is a four-star built around shared spaces: a rooftop pool, a fitness centre, a sun terrace, a restaurant and bar, plus yoga, cycling and boating. An 8.7 rating over 5,286 reviews shows the formula works. I recommend it for active travellers and families who like a lively hotel, and suggest somewhere smaller for anyone after quiet evenings.

Why we love it

- A wide array of leisure activities
- Modern and soundproofed rooms
- The vibrant social atmosphere
Why guests love itA rooftop swimming pool is the headline for families at The Social Hub Toulouse, and I find the activity list makes it livelier than a standard four-star: yoga classes, cycling and boating are all on offer. Rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed, which helps children sleep in a busy hotel, and each has a private bathroom. The restaurant and bar save looking for dinner after a long day, the sun terrace adds outdoor space, and Wi-Fi is free.
