Our take
B&B HOTEL Besançon Valentin covers the practical side well: air-conditioned family rooms, free on-site parking, an EV charging station, a sun terrace, a bar, a lounge and a coffee shop. Daily housekeeping and free WiFi complete a no-frills offer. It suits drivers more than travellers who want to walk to the Citadelle or the old town. I read its 8.4 rating over 2,654 reviews as a reliable sign.

- ✓Enjoy the buffet breakfast for a convenient and varied start to your day
- ✓Relax on the sun terrace or in the outdoor seating area during warmer months

Why guests love itB&B HOTEL Besançon Valentin offers air-conditioned family rooms and free on-site parking, and for a family travelling by car I would see it as an easy, practical base. The sun terrace and outdoor seating give children space, a coffee shop and bar cover snacks, and housekeeping is daily. Electric car owners can charge on site. It is a functional stop rather than a central address. An 8.4 score over more than 2,600 reviews is reassuring.
