Place d'Armes is the oldest square in Calais and the one the Tour du Guet still watches over, which puts the Breeze at the historic centre of a town that lost most of its old fabric. Couples rate the location at 8.9, and the old fishermen's quarter behind the harbour is the part of Calais that best repays an evening walk.
