The renovation shows in rooms that feel current rather than dated, but the setting does most of the work: the viaRhona path runs right past the door, so a morning ride along the Rhone is as easy as stepping outside, and the historic centre is three minutes away by car for evenings among the cathedral and market streets. The outdoor pool and two restaurants, including Popote for casual local snacks and Courtepaille for grilled meat, cover most meals without needing to leave the grounds, while free private and secure parking removes one more thing to plan around for anyone arriving by car off the A7. Guests arriving without a car will still find the location workable, since the A7 exit and the historic centre both sit a short taxi ride away rather than requiring a long drive.
